Street Photography at and around the Oktoberfest.

The Oktoberfest (or Wiesn) takes place every year in Munich from mid-September to the beginning of October. More and more people attend this traditional festival dressed in traditional Bavarian outfits. The Bavarians wear beautiful leather trousers, high wool socks, or traditional dresses. Hats are an important part of the outfit. Even the tourists are now dressing up. For the tourists, it is like going to a carnival, but for the Bavarians, it is a tradition, and the clothes they wear are part of their regular attire; they also wear them at village festivals or on weekends.

Walking around the Wiesn during this time, observing and photographing the outfits and the attitudes of the visitors, is a pleasure.
