Au ras du sol Je regarde l’animation de la ville Au ras du sol Je regarde l’animation de la ville autrement, en me fixant sur le sol et sur le mouvement des jambes. J’aime suggérer un lieu sans le montrer, laisser une place à l’imaginaire et à ce que chacun peut y projeter. En photographiant ainsi la rue, je cherche à saisir des fragments de vie, des personnes qui marchent, dansent ou prennent simplement le temps de se poser. Chaque photo devient alors le point de départ d’une histoire que chacun peut imaginer à sa manière. _______________________ Close to the Ground I look at the movement of the city differently, focusing on the ground and the movement of people’s legs. I like to suggest a place without showing it, leaving room for imagination and for what each person can project onto the image. By photographing the street this way, I try to capture fragments of life — people walking, dancing, or simply taking the time to pause. En street photography, j'ai toujours eu un faible pour les silhouettes. Je trouve qu'un chapeau leur donne immédiatement une allure folle, une élégance intemporelle. Alors, partout où je me balade, mon œil est irrésistiblement attiré par ces jeux d'ombres et de lumière. C’est un projet de fond que je développe depuis des années au fil de mes voyages. Une quête visuelle universelle : partout où je vais, je croise ces silhouettes coiffées. De Venise au Mexique, en passant par Paris, le sud de la France ou les États-Unis… Laquelle de ces silhouettes vous inspire le plus ? The "Hats" series continues… 👒 With this heat and the burning sun, they are everywhere. In street photography, I’ve always had a weakness for silhouettes. I feel a hat instantly gives them an incredible look, a timeless elegance. So, wherever I wander, my eye is irresistibly drawn to these plays of light and shadow. This is a long-term project I’ve been developing for years throughout my travels. A universal visual quest: everywhere I go, I cross paths with these capped silhouettes. En attendant, voici une image de la série que j’aime particulièrement. Une colonne de silhouettes gravissant Big Daddy dans la lumière du matin — comme une écriture, tracée dans le sable. These dunes are an endless source of inspiration — both photographic and graphic. I’ve lost count of how many images I’ve taken… and I already know the editing process, once this journey comes to an end, will be as intense as it is exciting.
